About Us

Dave

Dave first picked up a camera over twenty years ago whilst in high school in Los Angeles, USA. That first camera was a Canon AE-1 Program and he's been a devout Canon worshiper ever since. The first couple of years of his photography were spent on the high-school yearbook staff as a sports photographer and as a photojournalist for the school newspaper. After leaving school, Dave worked occasionally as a "part time" freelance photographer for local newspapers and organisations.

Returning to the UK a few years later, Dave continued his photography as a hobby. A life changing visit to Africa a few years ago has made him concentrate his efforts on wildlife.

He's had images published and is represented by a stock agency. He is also the moderator of the European Regional Forum for the online nature photographers website, Naturescapes.net

Carol

Carol spent her childhood on a country estate as the daughter of a gamekeeper. He instilled in Carol a deep love and respect for all wildlife that she carries with her today.

Meeting Dave a few years ago she found in him a kindred spirit. Taking one of his backup cameras, she discovered a natural flair for photography and now shares his passion.

Carol placed second in an international photo competition earlier this year, entered by over three thousand photographers (including Dave!).

She was recently invited to work as moderator for the Wildlife forum on Naturescapes.net

Together they are a formidable team and are fast becoming well respected photographers within their field. Through their workshops and involvement at Naturescapes.net, they hope to help others who are just starting out in photographing the natural world.
